WE'RE LEGAL!

Since we wrote last, the church has finally been officially recognized by the government. This means more work to do things right in the eyes of the government, but it also brings with it peace of mind and other legal benefits.

THREE BAPTIZED

In July we celebrated Samuel’s, Carmen’s, and Diana’s testimonies of salvation as they followed Jesus in baptism.

BIBLES FUND

Just look at Miguel’s face as he received his first Bible. Help us keep the Bibles fund going by giving a designated gift marked for Bibles. You can give through your local church or online: https://donate.bbfimissions.com

HELPING REFUGEES

We continue to open the doors of the church to Action Against Hunger, a global charity that has been attending to the medical, financial, and legal needs of Venezuelan refugees arriving to Bogotá.

ADULTS CAMP

After great effort, we were a little disappointed that we only managed to take 12 people from our area to the adult camp this semester, but that didn’t dampen the joy we felt when four of them put their faith in Jesus at camp. The following Sunday we had nine visitors. Yensy was one of those visitors, and the daughter of a woman saved at camp. She said her mom came home so excited that she had to go and find out what happened to her. She was saved that Sunday morning as well.

PRAY FOR OUR FAMILY AND TEAM

Recently Jonathan’s mother, Audrey, was diagnosed with a slow-growing lymphoma. Craig Lingo, the longest-serving member of our team here in Colombia, also received the exact same diagnosis. They both started chemo at the same time and are in need of your prayers.
