CONBIBA NORTE
As I look back on these first three months of 2022, it’s so amazing to see what God has been doing with the people of Conbiba Norte. At the end of January, we had a fair to present the various church ministries and volunteer opportunities. Several people signed up to become volunteers for the first time and even a few recommitted to serving again. We have two men going through our disciple program, two brand new deacons, and a solid group of teens attending the youth group. After several months of preparation and prayer, our pastor’s wife, Natalia, and another lady in the church, Roxana, launched our Women of Worth bible study! This is the first time since starting the church that we have had a ministry dedicated to the ladies of the church. It’s so special to see both of these women lead this ministry and their strong desire to help other women grow in their relationship with the Lord.
MANNA
After our holiday break we were ready to get back to serving our community through our MANNA project. We have seen a few changes this semester such as having to reduce the amount of days we meet and losing around ten of our kids. Regardless of these changes, God has already brought us new kids and a growing desire to see these families eternally impacted by the Gospel.
PERSONAL UPDATE
These last three months have been a whirlwind but I’ve treasured every moment that the Lord has allowed me to minister to these people. In February, I celebrated six years living in Colombia and said “see you later” to my closest Colombian friend. In March, I celebrated a birthday and then had to leave the country for a few days because of an expired visa. Please be praying that I’ll be able to apply for my new visa soon. Thank you for partnering with me to take the Gospel to the Colombian people.
Your missionary, Ali Alexander
