A MAJOR STEP IN THE GREAT COMMISSION Before Covid hit, we had the awesome opportunity to take our church in Colombia on their first ever international missions trip. We went to Guatemala and served with local churches and MANNA projects. It was such a privilege to see the Colombian pastor, his wife, a young Colombian student interact with the different ministries and catch a vision for missions outside of Colombia. This was a huge step in the right direction for the Latin Initiative and for the church we started in Bogotá years ago.
CROSS-CULTURAL TRAINING ONLINE Screenshots like these have become pretty commonplace during Covid times. Nonetheless, it is a reality that we have embraced and we will not let the circumstances stop us from doing what God has called us to do. Thankfully, the Zoom application has worked well for our purposes. We had thirteen students in our practical missions theology course from the Colombian discipleship training school. And we just finished a ten-week cross-cultural missions course with 35 students from Ecuador.
CHANDLER STARTED COLLEGE During his six months at the Discipleship Training School in Colombia, Chandler made the HUGE decision to study missions at Arlington Baptist University. He is adapting well and learning so much. Pray for him as he keeps up with his studies and works. He is determined to graduate with honors and without debt. We are so proud of him!
