As you have joined us in praying over the last 16 years for young adults in latin countries to surrender to ministry, we want to tell you a couple of stories of how God is answering your prayers.
ISAMAR
Isamar comes from our partner ministry in Orizaba, Mexico, a church that has focused on inspiring their members to be deeply involved and committed to missions. She is one of those young adults who has been inspired. In the fall of 2022, she decided to go to MANNA’s Training School in Colombia. After that experience, she was accepted into a missions program at a seminary in Kansas City, MO. Her journey began about a month ago. We recently had a conversation with Isamar. She said, “If it wasn’t for the training I received in Colombia, I probably would have gone home already.” Please join us in praying for her as this will not be an easy journey. English is not her first language. We are very excited for her and look forward to seeing how God uses her for His kingdom.
JONATHAN
Another young man named Jonathan comes from one of the churches inBogotá. He spent some time talking to Scott about his desire to be a missionary during the alumni reunion. He was one of the students that was greatly inspired by Scott’s class on missions as well as the missions trip at the end of his training. Please pray for us as we guide him in his next steps and for him as he discerns where God would have him train for this.
TRAINING & DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL OF COLOMBIA REUNION
This July we had the privilege of sitting in a room surrounded by approximately 60 alumni of MANNA’s Training School. Our hearts burst with gratefulness to the Lord for the work He has done in the lives of so many young people over the last seven years. As they sat around sharing stories of how God used the school in their lives to grow them, we were able to see the hand of God bringing up a generation that will change their world. Many of them desire to serve in full-time ministry and many of them are already faithfully leading in their churches. Pray for them as they walk in obedience to God. The total monthly cost for this ministry is approximately $4,400. We have been able to raise $1,600/month so far. It would be a privilege to have you partner with us in this endeavor.
