HOME VISITS

ree

We are blessed to take churches to the countries where we work and introduce them to the people and ministries we love. In partnership with the church leaders on the field we plan home visits. We take a basket full of groceries and household items as a gift and this opens up opportunities to share a clear gospel presentation or encourage believers in their walk with Christ. In March of 2024, a new MANNA ministry was launched in a small church in La Calera, a small town outside of Bogotá. It is a Bible club/nutrition center where the children receive a lunch, a Bible lesson, play games, sing, and do a craft. They are also loved on by Jose and Ingrid, Venezuelans who lead this ministry and by those involved in the Training School. The very first home visit was to one of the families whose children attended the MANNA Club. We shared the gospel at that time, and Aurimar, the mom, listened intently but did not make a decision to follow Christ that day. Almost a year later, while another church was there, we visited her again and this time she responded to the message by repenting and believing. We are so grateful to partner with faithful servants in Colombia who make the gospel the priority and boldly share it on a regular basis. They are a light in their community and it greatly impacts the groups that go.

CHANDLER’S NEXT STEPS

It is our great honor to announce that our son, Chandler, has graduated from Spurgeon College and is now engaged to marry Abigail Sherrill on December 7, 2025. We have no greater joy than to see our children growing in the Lord and in His word and watching God lead them in their next steps. What a blessing that God is growing our family as well. We look forward to them beginning their marriage and family and following the Lord wherever He chooses to lead them. How we love our children! We truly resound with the Scripture that says Happy is the man whose quiver is full.

MISSIONS TRIP TO THE AMAZONS

In our next update we will share about the students missions trip to Leticia, a city in the Amazons of Colombia. They were able to serve churches in incredible ways.
